Bella Garden

What you do to ingredients is as important as what you start with.

Bella Vedere is trying hard to make diners partake of the immediacy and excitement of vegetables just out of the garden. The kitchen plot offers a special opportunity to slow down & participate in the rhythms natural processes. Growing vegetables more than any other kind of gardening means a daily presence, a constant attention to detail, an awareness of seasonal change.

Bella Vedere has an organic garden - compost is the main fertilizer, natural pest control methods are used as a huge variety of herbs & vegetables are cultivated. Compost is the core, the heart, the essential ingredient of the garden. Vegetable scraps from the kitchen are returned to the garden & allowed to compost.
